I’ve spent my life in the water and it still finds new ways to move me. For years I chased a version of success that pulled me from it. The ocean brought me back.

You don’t need a whale. You need to get to the water. Get in it. Slow down

We protect what we love. And we only love what we’ve been close to.

The ocean asks nothing and hands back more than you bring. Perspective. Steadiness. And somewhere in the quiet, it asks something of you in return.

Not grand gestures. Small

Whatever you’re carrying this week, it’s worth the trip.

No audience, no version of itself it puts on for anyone. It moves because that’s what it does, whether you’re watching or not.
