Personal Journey
It takes time to understand how we see the world
My journey
I grew up the little island of jersey, childhood spent at the beach, would inspire my work later on in life.
Always had a camera in my hand.
I didn’t get on at school, I felt like the the kid who never was never heard or understood.
Using my work to share how I saw the world
I had very little confidence - Until a camera was put in my hands.
After school I went into building business, all my savings went into the latest camera and travel.
I sent 2 years travelling in my early 20’s, Travel would be turning point in my life.
How it all started
The First commission Bali hotel back in 2006
It would take another 2 years and two Uk photography competition wins to make me realise this could be a career.
Still under confident in my work.
First commission at home in jersey for an Architectural exhibition for three weeks, I never turned back.
Start of social media. right in the economic downturn
Business meet ups with the corporate and hospitality industry
networking events.
every job possible to make ends meet. never saying no to a job ever.
The process and the plan over the last 10 years
I never had a plan
I would shoot every day
I’d connect everyday
I’d be inspired by other photographers everyday.
